Hoofbeats & Christmas Carols Parade

Presented by The Aiken Equine Rescue and SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare, this festive parade caroling in downtown Aiken on horseback features hundreds of horses, equestrians, dogs, and Santa’s elves.
The Parade starts and finishes at the intersection of Barnwell & Greenville streets.
The parade travels 2 1/2 miles from the intersection of Barnwell & Greenville streets, stopping at Trinity on Laurens senior living residence, continuing on Laurens St., left on Park, right on Newberry, passes by the Wilcox, left on Chesterfield, left on Park, right on Laurens, then left on Barnwell back to the staging area.
(Registration/Horse Staging starts at noon at the intersection of Barnwell & Greenville St, carriages stage at Mead Hall 618 Barnwell St, Dogs staging at Trinity on Laurens).
The Hoofbeats & Christmas Carols parade started 13 years ago and has grown from a few horses and dogs to almost 300 horses and carriages and almost 100 dogs, everyone in costume including the animals, singing Christmas Carols through the middle of Aiken.
