Holsteiner Verband Mare and Foal Inspection

This is the annual Verband inspection of new mares and foals for approval and entry into the Holsteiner studbook and this will be the first time it will be held in Aiken. There are 2 judges from the Verband and horses are inspected both in hand and at liberty. The judges’ commentary on the characteristics of each horse provides a fascinating insight into the creation of a modern sport horse of the Holsteiner breed. Any Holsteiner mare or other European recognized warmblood or Thoroughbred mare is eligible to be inspected. Onsite stabling is available.
