First Day Hike at Aiken State Park

Happy New Year! Start your New Year’s resolution off on the right foot by hitting the Jungle Trail. Join a ranger at Aiken State Park and enjoy a 2.7-mile hike around the Jungle Trail. We’ll observe beautiful scenery, look and listen to wildlife, and have fun with other motivated park enthusiasts. Take a break from the holiday feasting and walk off that uncomfortable feeling! See you at Aiken State Park on New Year’s Day! We will meet in the main Day Use picnic area. Please make sure to bring water, binoculars, insect repellent, hiking shoes, and a camera if you desire. Also, make sure to dress appropriately for the weather. The event is free, but park admission applies.
