Portraying Lincoln: Man of Many Faces

An exhibition of artwork and material culture that demonstrates the multiplicity of responses that the life and legacy of Abraham Lincoln have engendered during his lifetime, but also through the hundred fifty-nine years since his death. Visual portrayals—the language of form through artwork and artifacts—may provide the profoundest portraits of this man’s character.
