Annual Historic Beech Island Tour

The Annual Historic Beech Island Tour will be held Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and will include stops at Beech Island’s historic homes, churches and cemeteries along with other interesting and historic places. An old-fashion barbecue lunch, also sponsored by the society, will be served at the Visitors Center (site #7) from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. BBQ dinners will cost $15.
Cost of tickets for the day-long, self-guided, driving tour will be $25 for adults, $20 for seniors (60 & up) the day of the tour and $20 for adults and $15 for seniors in advance. Children up to age 18 are free. Barbecue pork or chicken dinners will cost $10. Advance tour tickets can be purchased at Historic Augusta, the Arts & Heritage Center of North Augusta, Aiken County Parks, Recreation & Tourism Visitors Center and ordered from the Beech Island Historical Society. Tickets the day of the tour can be purchased at the Beech Island Historical Society History & Visitors Center.
