Annual Aiken Horse Show

March 29-31, 2024
9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Whether you are an equestrian, outdoor enthusiast, history buff, local business, or simply appreciate rich new experiences – The Aiken Horse Show has something for you. Established by Mrs. Hitchcock in 1916, the Aiken Horse Show has retained its rustic charm and remains one of the foremost equestrian competitions in Aiken.

Spectators are invited to view the lovely show grounds, setting, and competition for free over the course of the entire weekend. The show is free to those who hike in via any of the Woods seven main entrances (Hiking in is not encouraged via the South Boundary entrance due to equestrian and vehicular traffic). Driving into the Woods is permitted for the Show and entails a $10 parking donation to the Hitchcock Woods Foundation. Spectators may bring their own picnic, purchase lunch from the concession stand or purchase a ticket for a catered lunch under the big tent – and view the lovely show grounds, setting and, competition each day.

The Aiken Horse Show is the signature program and fundraising event for the Hitchcock Woods Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that owns & manages Hitchcock Woods and is funded through donor support. Visit www.hitchcockwoods.org for more information.
