Riding the Trolley: The trolley is an enclosed vehicle with both air conditioning and heat. The seat bottoms have cushions. The backs do not. About half way through the tour there is a restroom break at Hopelands Gardens and the Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame & Museum. Water, but no other food or beverage, is allowed on the trolley. Pets are not allowed on the tour. Service animals only. Not recommended for small children due to the length of the tour.

Where and When: The Historic Aiken Trolley Tour departs the City of Aiken Visitors Center & Train Museum (406 Park Ave SE, Aiken), at 10 am each Saturday. Reservations are strongly encouraged, as tickets often sell out two to three weeks in advance.

Checking In: Please arrive for the trolley tour no later than 9:45 am (tickets can be resold to standby patrons if not claimed by 9:55 am). The Aiken Visitor Center and Train Museum opens at 9:00 am on Saturdays for ticket holders and may be toured prior to departure.

Refunds: Up to 1 day before event.

Handicap Accessibility: The trolley is equipped with a wheelchair lift. Use of a wheelchair requires extra loading time and takes up 2 spaces (one of which must be reserved manually by the trolley staff). There is no additional fee for the extra space. However, please notify staff of need by calling 803-293-7846 (Mon.– Sat., 9 am – 5 pm), so that we may properly prepare for your visit!
