Joye in Aiken was founded in 2008 as a collaboration between the City of Aiken and The Juilliard School, considered the world’s premier performing arts conservatory. In 14 years we have brought over 500 superb musicians, actors and dancers to Aiken to provide public performances (many of them free or low-cost) and outreach to over 45,000 area students. Programming now includes a one-week Festival in March, a four-day Jazz Camp in June with Juilliard-trained instructors, and a “Joye to the World” Holiday Concert in December.
