DuPont Planetarium and RPSEC Observatory

The planetarium is a 30 ft. diameter dome with seating for 45. Programs usually last an hour and include a short, live presentation of the stars, constellations, and planets visible in the current night sky plus an automated program on a variety of topics, most related to astronomy. Observatory is open for telescope viewing after the planetarium shows, weather permitting. Check the website for descriptions of each show and of the facility, the show schedule, and ticket prices. Private shows for groups can be arranged by calling (803)641-3769.
