Have you ever wanted to ride on the Training Track where racing immortals like Kelso, Swale, Pleasant Colony, Tom Fool, Gallorette, Shuvee, and others trained?
Riders! Check off that bucket list item! February 23rd from 12pm to 3pm. You are invited to ride on the historic Aiken training track. Admit it, we have all done it. Imagined being out on the track. Coming around the ¾ pole, no one in front of you but the front stretch and the finish line. You will get two laps around the track at the pace you want. Want to walk it? Great! Go faster? Sure! Have a great time? Absolutely! See the link for application and rules.
Sunday, February 23, 2020, 12:00 – 3:00 pm. Ride alone or with friends, at the pace you choose, for 20 minutes or 2 laps.
This program is for participants ages 12 and up. Children ages 12 – 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Riders must sign a waiver, and juniors (under 14) must ride with an adult. No colts, stallions, or ridglings. All riders must wear approved helmets and appropriate footwear. All riders must provide proof of negative Coggins test within 12 months.
