“Joye In Aiken really belongs to everyone, because it’s the community that has made it possible all these years,” says Sandra Field, Joye in Aiken President.  “So we’ll kick off the celebration with something that everyone can participate in.  It’s a fun family event, with a horse-drawn caisson and a jazz band led by one of our Juilliard-trained artists, and lots of beads and masks and costumes.  We’d love to have the whole community turn out to walk the parade route with us.”
