The Festival of the Woods Family Day is the community coming together to celebrate the cultural and natural resources of Hitchcock Woods. This free event will include learning stations for everyone to learn about our accomplishments and priorities of the Hitchcock Woods. Subject matter experts will be on-hand to answer your questions. Pack a lunch and picnic under the pines. Family Day is a classroom for adventurers of all ages!

Turtles in the Woods: see the box turtle and discover how and why they are tracked
Prescribed Burning in the Woods: understand how fire plays a positive role in nature
Firewise Education Trailer: learn to be wise about fire in your community
