Join the Aiken Land Conservancy and the City of Aiken for a nature-filled afternoon on Sunday, October 9 at the H. Odell Weeks Activities Center. The event will feature an indoor presentation and book signing by renowned nature author Tom Poland about the phenomenon of Carolina Bays, followed by a visit to the Carolina Bay adjacent to Odell Weeks on Price Avenue. Also featured will be local artists displaying their nature artwork and educational exhibits provided by the Silver Bluff Audubon Center and SRS Ecology Lab (including live animals).
