Join us for our next Youth Wing Workshop on Saturday, November 14 outside at ACT's 'Old Playhouse' building which is located at the corner of Price Avenue and Two Notch Road behind Odell Weeks Rec Center in Aiken. Grades 6 – 8 will meet from 11:00 – 12:30, and grades 9 – 12 will meet from 1:00 – 3:00. If it looks like there will be inclement weather, we will make a decision by Wednesday, November 11 to relocate to a safe and roomy indoor location.

Our free workshops are designed to teach basic theatre skills, such as Stage Movement, Finding Your Character, Improvisation, Script Analysis and more, in an engaging and age-appropriate manner. We want to teach the theatre arts, but we also want our students to have fun and form friendships with other like-minded students from throughout our community and learn life skills that they can use in any aspect of their lives, not just theatre.

Each student must bring a COVID-19 questionnaire signed by a parent or guardian or complete them at the workshop before they will be allowed to participate. New students will also need to fill out a Registration Form and Photo Release/Offsite Workshop Permission form, but if you've already filled out one of these forms you do not need to fill out another one! All forms are available at this link: https://aikencommunitytheatre.org/youthwing We will also have forms available at the workshop.
